During the next two weeks, keep your eyes open for angles (and other geometric figures).
When you see something interesting, take a picture and send it in.
Thank you to Leo for getting us started thinking about angles beyond the classroom. He recommended the following video, which highlights what can happen when geometry goes wrong.
On this, our last day before spring break, we started out by attending a student-led assembly. Dancing, a read aloud, and student news got our day off to a great start. Thank you, Third Grade! You assembled an amazing assembly!
*If you enjoyed the read aloud, listen to it again, read aloud by the main characters.”
As we exited the CAC, we were treated to a sun shower. Beautiful!!
Then, we headed over to the swim meet to support one of our very own scholarly swimmers (and a few siblings).
Mina volunteered to participate in this interscholastic event.
May said of Mina, “She’s a risk taker!”
Indeed, she is! We were honored to be able to support her and to celebrate her effort and grit!
Ebube and Leo were proud of their siblings, as well.
