Drama with a Capital “D”!
Bedtime can be one of those less-than-lovely moments of the day. The drama that can happen in pajamas was illustrated well at today’s performance by TASOK’s 6th Grade drama students. The adaptation of Lauren Child’s I Am Not Sleepy and I Will Not Go To Bed was both entertaining and educational. Students were able to see set, scene, and costume changes; consider story elements including character, conflict, and plot development; and compare and contrast genres (narrative vs. drama). At the end of the performance, students posed a number of thoughtful questions related to both story and production.
